Legrandite is one of the most sought after species for collectors for its beauty and rarity in fine crystals. This rare and highly sought after zinc arsenate species is only found in a few places on earth in collector quality specimens. The top Legrandite specimens from the classic Ojuela Mine in Mexico stand as one of the greatest mineral occurrences extant. This miniature specimen is a lovely example featuring rich yellow color, lustrous crystals of Legrandite on Limonite matrix. The largest crystal measures 6 mm. You can see from the macro photos that they are well-terminated and look great up close. Good specimens of Legrandite are seldom seen on the market, and I don't have to tell you that fine specimens sell for huge money these days.
