Item Description

Legrandite is one of the three Holy Grail species from Mina Ojuela, along with manganoan adamite and scorodite. This beautiful slender spray has rich golden-yellow color and is highly lustrous and translucent. Complete all-around, the sloped termination is contacted, but has no damage, per se, as do many such specimens that were contacted with the roof of the vug. A very fine, highly representative miniature from the historic 1960s and 70s finds. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection.
