Legrandite is a Holy Grail species for Mexico and the famed Mina Ojuela. Two sprays, 5.3 cm across, of elongated gem golden-yellow legrandite crystals are dramatically and aesthetically set on the sturdy gossan matrix. The crystals on the left have fabulous sharp spearpoint terminations and reach 3.5 cm long. Scattered small brownish-yellow mimetite botryoids to the left of the sprays are a nifty accent. This is an exceptional and rich example of this highly desirable species from the Larry Conklin dealer stock. Seldom on the market in this quality. Valued at $2250-2500.
