Item Description

A shapely trident of gemmy, lustrous, translucent, straw-yellow legrandite crystals, to 1.0 cm, are aesthetically set in a vug in gossan matrix on this showy and highly representative miniature from renowned Mina Ojuela. Legrandite is one of the three Holy Grail species from Mina Ojuela, along with manganoan adamite and scorodite. This piece is from the historic 1960s and 70s finds.
