Item Description

An impressive cluster of sharp and well-formed, indigo-blue lazurite crystals is nicely set in contrasting white marble matrix. This species is also know as Lapis Lazuli, and is typically used for cabochons and carving in its massive form. These crystals are reasonably sharp and reach 2.7 cm. Some contacting is noted, but this remains a rich and highly representative example of the species from the Type Locality. Valued $200-250.
