Item Description
Highly lustrous crystals of deep blue lazulite, to 5 mm across, are closely associated with lustrous crystals of chocolate colored siderite, to 7 mm across. This is a classic example of the kinds of rare phosphate materials brought out by folks like Rod Tyson and Neal Pfaff back in the 1980s and 1990s. It is a very large plate, of high luster and quality, that would have sold for $500-1000 even at the time, as so few plates of this size were recovered and brought to market.
