Lazulite on Wagnerite (rare find)

Very rare material from a historic discovery, which is known as the discovery of the century. Werfen is the only locality in entire Europe that produced Lazulite of relevance. Specimens are rare and very hard to obtain, and isolated crystals on Wagnerite matrix are absolutely exceptional. The locality produced only a few clefts several decades ago, other material which was found nearby never had this intense color. Most specimens show just veins or fragments of crystals, a piece with relatively sharp faces is exceptional. Raidlgraben is a small, narrow side valley of the Fritzbach Valley. Werfen is famous for Lazulite - most material came from the Färbergraben locality, specimens from there show lighter color and less faces, more a layer or micro-crystals. The discovery from Raidlgraben is well known here as the best find of Lazulite in the century. And the quantity was very low! The discovery was in the early 70s and it is nearly impossible to get a sample. The size of the lazulite crystal is 1.0 cm...a good size for this find!
