Lawsonite is a rare hydrated calcium, aluminum silicate and this rich and showy large piece is from the California Type Locality. Lustrous and translucent, pastel-pink to blue-gray crystals to 2.0 cm are richly scattered in the sparkly mica schist matrix. Classic and excellent older material. these sharp, blocky crystals are unusually well formed and isolated. valued $500
