Lavendulan (Orellana Coll.)

Item Description

Lavendulan is a rare hydrated complex copper arsenate and is a polymorph of lemanskiite. Rich bright turquoise-blue patches of microcrystals are scattered on the front of the matrix and a vein on three sides of the blocky slab hosts more lavendulan, along with royal-blue azurite and green conichalcite. This is a showy and highly represenative combination example from this small, well-known rich prospect and is from the Orellana Collection.
