large XL: Orthoclase ps. After Leucite (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

A fine pseudomorph from this obscure locale and the Bob Trimingham Collection. Orthoclase has replaced a large, sharp, floater, leucite crystal. The partial iron oxide coating and attached smaller crystal add character. Pristine, except for the attachment at the base. Collected by Mr. Galas of Galas Minerals in 1975, according to Bob's label. What a neat piece, from a rare locale!
