Large Wulfenite xl (Willy Israel Coll.)

Item Description

A very large, translucent, gray to yellow, tabular, wulfenite crystal from the famous and now closed Tsumeb Mine. This lustrous, glassy, giant has sharply beveled edges and is a near floater. Trivila attachment edgwear is noted in a couple of places, which is certainly only a modest detraction. Very seldom available in this size, even though Tsumeb produced fabulously large wulfenite crystals to 60 cm!!! Ex Willy Israel Collection # 3239 and purchased from A. Deininger in Windhoek in August, 1986.
