A weird looking, impressive and RARE large multi-generational mounded prehnite plate from the Merelani Hills, source of easily the world's finest Tanzanite crystal specimens and cuttable rough. The thick, sculptural, yellow-green translucent plate is underlain by tiny graphite sections. Strange looking light mint-green etched prehnite ribbons dramatically cover the plate and a striking 3.5 cm, pretty sea-green, translucent bladed ball with attendant side cars crowns this sculptural large specimen. Highly unusual and rare large prehnite from the Merelani Hills. Value?? We have never seen another like it.
