Such a large, rich wavellite specimen has not been seen in some time, until recent digging here in the summer of 2010. The dramatic and sculptural, two-sided piece hosts a multitude of lustrous, translucent, teal wavellite botryoids lining faces and deep crevasses of the striking, brecciated, blocky, novaculite matrix. A significant and very showy large two-sided piece. Valued at $1000-1250. 7.1 pounds or 3.2 kilos.
