Item Description

A striking cleft-like vug is lined with colorful wavellite botryoids on this impressive large and sculptural specimen from the 2010 finds at Avant. One-half of the vug is lined with sparkly, translucent, sea-green botryoids, while, interestingly, the botryoids on the other wall are lightly frosted. Unusual chemistry here. The dramatic see-through cavern on on end adds much pizzazz. The piece is in oustanding condition. All-in-all, a spectacular, important and colorful large specimen from this find. Valued at $1000-1250.
