Item Description
Impressive, RARE style large beryl from an unknown locality in Goverador Valadares. The dramatic sharp compound crystal consists of four intergrown textbook hexagonal prisms. The color of the lustrous porcelaineous crystal is very unusual in itself, being a varigated creamy green. Beryl is also uncommon from Governador Valadares, which includes the famous Golconda pegmatite field. In great shape, overall, with only a bit of edge wear on the frontal crystal and the embedded albite matrix. A significant and rare large beryl of this style and color from the locale.
