A very impressive, large, twisted, smoky quartz gwindel. The crystals on this strikingly angled, stairstep-like cluster are water-clear and have rich smoky color. Sparkly chlorite microcrystals preferentially coat and etch many of the faces. The large, lower smoky is doubly terminated. This outstanding 360-degree specimen is essentially pristine, with only periphery wear at the base. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic and exceptional large specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987. Valued at $1000-1500.
