Item Description
A gorgeously gemmy, sharp, near-floater titanite crystal from a small find 3-4 years ago from an uncommon Pakistan locale. This transparent to translucent, complex single crystal has very sharp edges, striking colors ranging olive-green to yellow to brown and the classic, sharply defined fishtail twinning plane. The edges on the other two sides are distinctively different, being sharp and beveled. One small attachment point at the sidecar crystal and a trivial bit of edge wear are noted, but still this is a beautiful and sculptural, twinned titanite crystal. LARGE example for the pocket, and for the size, worth something valuable, we thought. I believe I PAID $800-1000 for this at the time, in the lot. It was said to have also some gem rough value
