large Topaz, Quartz, Cleavelandite & Schorl

Item Description

Impressive, showy, highly representative large combination specimen from the well-known pegmatites at Dassu, Pakistan. The highlight is the two nicely placed classic, cognac-colored, gem topaz crystals, 3.0 cm and 2.0 cm tall. Sculptural quartz crystal clusters and isolated quartz points scattered on the undulating albite matrix covered with rosettes of oxide-tinted cleavelandite blades add character, contrast and aesthetics to the piece. A 7.3 cm schorl crystal section with an adjacent small green fluorite section on one side are a fine bonus. Classic and excellent large topaz combination material from Dassu. Note the size - it is perhaps too large for many people and can actually be trtimmed, but looks fairly important as a big item also.
