Item Description
A stunninng sculptural and colorful large sharp L-shaped combination specimen from this well-known Polish open pit sulfur mine. One face of the 'L' is dramatically covered with sparkling, gemmy, bright canary-yellow sulfur crystals. The piece is composed solidly of plumose sprays of white barite blades with striking preferential overgrowths of secondary tan barite blades on the front "porch" and with patches scattered on the back of the 'L'. Interestingly, sulfur crystals are very isolated on the other three sides of this most imposing large combination from the Ted Bartels Collection. White fluorescence.
