Item Description

A surreal large layered two-sided two-generation gypsum from this extinct Poland copper mine, that operated from 1961-1968 (MINDAT). Two stunning layers of a jackstraw myriad of gem, colorless to yellow to orange gypsum prisms and needles are dramatically sandwiched between thin crusts of sparkly microcrystalline burnt-orange and tan gypsum. Striking and beautiful. It closely resembles similar material from South Australia. See: https://www.mindat.org/loc-155519.html. A fantastic, unique looking two-generation gypsum from Poland. Very lightweight and fragile at 157 grams mass but it is visually large and impressive and - we believe - eminently shippable. Gorgeous!
