Item Description
This matrix of thin albite blades in a solid cluster, hosts a solid ball of stokesite crystals that is rather large for the species and locale, at 1.3 cm across. When these first came to market, balls like this might have fetched $750-1000. They are the world's best examples of this very rare crystallized tin species, I was told. Now, people got all they needed, and more still trickle out form time to time, so the prices have seemingly come down. Still and all, this is a superb, display quality miniature with an excellent example of stokesite and should be worth owning at a fair price.
