Medium brown, translucent stilbite crystals are richly and attractively clustered on the impressive, sculptural, cavernous large diabase matrix on this very fine old-timer. Old-time specimens from this classic extinct quarry are seldom on the market. Ex Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia # 23165 and presented as a gift from Dr. L.C. Willis, an important early micromounter. The numbers match.
