Item Description

Stibnite specimens are RARE from this large open pit and underground Nevada gold mine. This is an impressive and dramatic large vein of solid stibnite. Dense sprays of splendent metallic blades, to about 1.7 cm, fill the open vug interior. A few matrix fragments are noted on one wall, but the walls are nearly entirely scintillating ends of tiny stibnite blades. Very choice and rare large material from the Raul Madrid Collection. Valued at $1500 for rarity, size and quality. A MUST for the Nevada or species collector!
