Impressive large parallel-growth multi-terminated pseudomorph from the world's largest antimony mine. Yellow stibiconite has partially pseudomorphed the dramatic intergrown cluster of parallel-growth stibnite crystals. The coatings could include rarities Valentinite and Crevantite. The terminations are pristine on the three major crystal on this most expressive piece. The striking 360-degree piece is from finds from the mid-1990s. Complete all-around and in great shape. Mass is 753 grams or 1.7 pounds. Ex Bill and Anne Cook Collection, major Cleveland, Ohio collectors and dealers. A very aesthetic large pseudomorph specimen from the Xikuangshan Mine. This was classic material from the earliest days of Chinese mineral exports and is valued highly today. In China, I have seen lesser examples priced over $5000. this is easily a $7500-10k mineral specimen by any rational standard compared to what has been on market at shows...almost nothing.
