Item Description

Gorgeous lilac color, large, sculptural, pristine, doubly terminated, tabular, floater kunzite crystal from the famous pegmatites at Pech. The upper 60% of the crystal is water-clear gem and the lower 40% is transparent to translucent. The dramatic, sharp wedge-shaped termination is contrasted by the very complex lower termination. The prism faces have exceptional waxy luster and are beautifully striated. The C-axis photo really highlights the rich lilac color of the very gemmy crystal. The 3.2 cm notch lower on one side is a dramatic accent. Mass is 631 grams, 3155 carats or 1.4 pounds. A classic and very fine large, doubly terminated kunzite from Pech.
