Item Description
Spinel-twinned Calumet coppers of this spectacular large size, scultpural form and crystal sharpness are very rare. This completely crystallized, slightly twisted, flattened specimen has stunning, arborescent crystal form branching out from the huge, central, spinel-twin "spine". The dramatic, super-sharp, "back bone", spinel-twin in the center of one side is 8.0 cm. The fine variable coppery patina and bits of attached country rock add much character. A dramatic and superb, large, old-time, two-sided floater from the Richard Hauck Collection. Valued at $2500-3000 for size, crystal quality and rarity. A classic and huge crystallized Copper Country specimen.
