Amazonite & Schorl on Smoky Quartz (RARE combo!)

A VERY RARE and impressive large old-time amazonite combination specimen from an unknown Minas Gerais locale. A 12.5 x 6.5 x 1.2 cm amazonite slab with top turquoise-blue color is dramatically set in the side of a striking large 360-degree lustrous, translucent, terminated smoky quartz crystal with rare accessories. The sloping termination is covered and included with schorl crystals and massive schorl. The dense schorl crystal pods on the sides with cleavelandite and quartz side cars add real pizzazz to this stunning large combination from an East Coast collection. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine. An edge ding near the termination is out-of-sight on the back. Undoubtedly older material, but no proof. RARE, perhaps UNIQUE large amazonite, smoky quartz and schorl from Brazil.
