An impressive, dramatically sculptural and very uncommon cluster of sharply terminated smoky quartz crystals from the Shigar Valley. The very glassy and lustrous, transparent to translucent prisms have fine light smoky color and the stepped-growth faces really enhance this stunning 360-degree piece. The internal clouds running the length of some of the crystals, some of the crystals are doubly terminated and the bit of attached quartz matrix, add even more character. Aesthetic smoky quartz specimens of this size, crystal quality and richness are RARE and desirable from the Shigar Valley. Mass is 1213 grams or 2.7 pounds. This is from a private collection only of Quartz, and was purchased as it is from Pakistan several years ago. It is natural, not repaired, and cleaned only with water to reveal the sharp edges and fantastic luster. This is a sculptural masterpiece, not just an average Pakistani , or any, quartz. Valued $2500
