Large Silver xl (old)

Item Description

A large, sharp, 1.8 cm, elongated silver crystal crowns this aesthetic scepter-like minature from the famous Wolverine Mine. The scepter is brightly burnished and has a beautiful iridescence. The "staff" is composed of nubby/hackly silver with embedded quartz and epidote. The Wolverine mined the Kearsarge Lode, renowned for fabulous silver specimens and this is a fine example. The four shafts of the mine were closed in 1925.
