Item Description
A striking large narrow spray of glassy, translucent scolecite crystals from recent finds in Nashik. The well-terminated large crystal really dominates this fine 360-degree piece. This is important for the species! The small broken terminations in the numerous sidecar crystals are barely noticeable and are certainly only a modest detraction. Ex Bill and Anne Cook Collection, major Cleveland, Ohio collectors and dealers. Classic and excellent large Nashik scolecite of this much elongated crystal style. It probalby came out decades ago.
