Item Description
A very impressive, large rhodochrosite rhomb from the recent (2007-present) finds at the Wutong Mine. The flattened rhomb has a cherry-red interior with a frosted, rose-red exterior. Complete all-around and nearly a floater. The front and edges are all there and the back has just a bit of contacting. This translucent crystal really GLOWS when backlit. Single, near floater crystals of this size and quality are just not that common from this locale. We paid $1500 for this in the early production out of China
