Dramatic, sculptural and colorful large rhodochrosite from the famous polymetallic deposits at Madan. Striking jackstraw clusters of large rich pink parallel-growth rhodochrosite blades form an outstanding 360-degree specimen. The stunning large, very unusual and uncommon nubby blades reach about 6.0 cm. The patch of quartz points and scattered calcite rhombs are super accessories. Periphery wear, mostly on the back side and out-of-sight, has minimal impact to the outstanding high quality of this large piece. Ex W.S.
