Item Description
Sparkling, rose-pink, rhodochrosite rhombs in spherical aggregates dramatically fill two large sculptural vugs in this spectacular large specimen from the Wessels Mine. The large vug is 14.5 cm across. The bedded manganese ore matrix is an outstanding compliment. This is a very important large specimen of this style and displays really nicely on a shelf. As it shows the whole pocket formation, it is easy to show layment how these things form, in situ, using such pieces as an example. Valued at $2500. 7.3 pounds or 3.3 kilos.
