Wow! A huge, dramatic, sculptural and very colorful combination from this famous mine. Glistening gemmy clusters of columnar cherry-red realgar crystals, to 1.8 cm, are richly and artfully scattered on the strikingly hummocky, coral-like matrix of velvety looking burnt-orange orpiment botryoids, with a surreal preferential greenish-yellow overgrowth, that adds an amazing context to this is most impressive piece. A few small glassy colorless tabular barite crystals scattered about are a fine accent. This fantatically colorful and artistic large combination looks great from either direction.
