Item Description

A RARE glassy, giant quartz crystal from recent finds at Jalgaon. This impressive specimen has a razor-sharp termination and is water-clear to translucent. Complete all-around. Trivial termination wear to one edge is certainly not a detraction. Contacting at the base is noted, but there is actually little damage, overall. The crystal form and bit of internal crazing presents a strikingly different perspective with every turn to this highly lustrous quartz. None of us has seen a large quartz of this quality from Jalgaon. It came in one lot of Indian material a few years ago, to us. 3.3 pounds or 1.5 kilos.
