Sharp, large quartz crystals of this exceptional size and quality are RARE from this well-known open pit mine. The translucent, lustrous, tapered hexagonal monolith has frosted faces and is dramatically and aesthetically accented with two clusters of glassy, colorless magnesite rhombs, one at the termination and one on the side. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. It is hard to see one small out-of-sight bruise on the back side near the base and the couple of gently bruised magnesites. RARE and excellent large combination material from the locale and the Matioli Collection. Value??? MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
