Item Description
This very impressive large 360-degree cyclic-twinned pseudo-hexagonal aragonite crystal has been pseudomorphed by quartz and then included with hematite, imparting the rust-red color. The large pseudo is dramatically accented with numerous smaller pseudos, adding much character. The aragonite crystal forms are perfectly preserved. The exceptionally large pseudo is partially doubly terminated and the overall piece is in great shape. A small dinged pseudo on top and the bit of basal periphery wear are both out-of-sight in the striking primary display view. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 2000. An outstanding large pseudomorph from the obscure Argentina locale. Big!
