Large Quartz (Paul Zerfass Coll.)

Item Description

A dramatic and excellent large quartz specimen from one of the famous quartz mines of Garland County, Arkansas. The sculptural, dense cluster of very glassy, water-clear to translucent crystals is dominated by the two striking large opposing points, at 11.5 and 10.8 cm. The interior of this fine piece is essentially pristine, with only a few scattered tiny wilbers noted. The primary display view is outstanding, as the base has been sawed. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a very minimal detraction. Every turn presents a different perspective to this choice and classic large quartz from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 1046.
