Sparkly quartz microcrystals densely cover this impressive, sculptural, LARGE CABINET plate of integrown large fluorite cubes on this dramatic and excellent old-time combination specimen from the famous mines at Weardale. The spectacular large cube has edges of 12.5 and 10.7 cm. The underlying fluorite is grayish-white. Classic, uncommonly large combination material with excellent fluorescence glowing through the quartz. The piece displays well from either direction. Pristine, except for the periphery wear. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection and valued at $1500. 8.8 pounds or 4 kilos.
