Item Description

An aesthetic and sculptural old-time plate of limpid, glassy, sharply terminated quartz crystals from Hot Springs. Jackstraw crystals of various sizes highlight this very fine 360-degree specimen. The impressive large angled crystal is 9.3 cm and two striking upright water-clear crystals are 7.5 and 6.5 cm long. Complete all-around and in great shape. A trivial bit of termination and edge wear to a few crystals and the acceptable periphery wear are noted, but are certainly minimal detractions to this fine old classic from the David Burgess Collection, for whom Burgessite is named. valued $250-300
