Sculptural and dramatic large combination material from the famous Herja Mine and the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection. The impressive, 3-dimensional, two-sided rib consists of knobs of two generations of quartz crystals attached to a thin quartz-rich crust. Both quartz generations are included with boulangerite, embuing the gray color. Striking, isolated, second generation glassy quartz crystals, to 1.3 cm with some being doubly terminated, are richly and attractively sprinkled on both sides of the rib on the smaller quartz crystals. Golden outlines of micro siderites around quartz crystals are a super accent. Complete all-around the pristine, the attachment is along the base of the crust. A classic and very artistic large quartz combination from the Herja Mine.
