This dramatic and impressive, large 360-degree specimen is solid crystallized pyromorphite! It has a striking stalactite look to it, as the bulbous end has terminated crystals. The lustrous and translucent prisms range from classic light brown to butterscotch color, as a result of an iron oxide coating. The color variability adds great visual interest. Crystallized, if with some damage in spots, all-around. Yes, there is scattered bruising and contacting, but this remains a significant large old-time specimen from this historic and important German locale with lots of visual impact because of the size..
