Item Description
Striking large modified pyrite octahedrons on this impressive and sculptural large specimen from the famous Huanzala Mine of Peru. The faces of the splendent brassy octos are enhanced by the variable hues and interesting and unusual patterns. This mine is one the world's great pyrite localities and this is an excellent, highly representative large example of this varietal. The piece displays very well without aid. Hefty mass is 3392 grams or 7.5 pounds.
