Large Pyrite Concretion

These incredibly interesting pyrite concretions are some of the most unique specimens that we have seen from any locality. This is an impressive large pyrite concretion ball from recent Chinese finds. The small, sparkling, sharp, modified, metallic pyrite crystals have formed in amazingly dense concentric "rings" or "bands" on the shale. A very cool large specimen. Essentially pristine. NOTE: I bought these in 2013 and we have seen no more quite this style for sale since early 2015 in China, so this find may be over.
