Large Primary Malachite

Item Description

A large, very sculptural, 3-dimensional, two-sided primary malachite specimen from recent finds at the Milpillas Mine. The rolling and vuggy architecture of the intergrown botryoids is strikingly enhanced by the chatoyancy, isolated second generation fibrous crystals and bit of attached matrix. The broken/contacted botryoids reveal the radial growth of the acicular crystals, adding even more pizzazz. This impressive piece has two dramtically different presentation views. A choice, large example of the varietal.
