Item Description
A 3.8 cm, lustrous, dark olive-green epidote crystal with a classic chisel termination highlights the front of this sculptural large 2-sided prehnite specimen from Mali. The beautiful translucent, rich apple-green bladed botryoids are dramatically accented by the three large botryoids on the crest and scattered sections of broken epidotes. A major RARE bonus is the rich peppering to pearlescent stilbite blades on the back. The front is in great shape, with only two broken prehnite botryoids noted lower on the piece. The prehnite GLOWS, when back lit! Two-sided specimens of this size and combination quality with stilbite are RARE, indeed. Valued at $2500.
