HUGE Powellite crystal (fluorescent)- doubly-terminated

Seldom seen in such large size, this is an important and impressive doubly terminated powellite with very high visual impact,. The large textbook, dipyramidal, tan crystal has high luster, excellent translucence, and frosted white faces. The beautiful striations, stepped-growth faces and attached stilbite crystals on one side add much pizzazz and sculptural quality. Most Indian powellite crystals are small. This is more powellite than you normally see in a whole pocket of the stuff. One termination is dinged and part of one side is contacted, but there is no damge, per se. The frontal displays of the powellite are striking. Rare and excellent in this doubly terminated size and quality. Bright yellowish-white fluorescence! Fairly valued at $2000-2500.
