Large Olmiite plate!

An impressive large olmiite plate from the Fall, 2008 find at the famous N'Chwaning II Mine of South Africa. The sculptural, undulating monster is covered with highly lustrous, translucent, flesh-colored, clusters of elongated orthorhombic crystals. This is a large sculptural olmiite specimen we have offered at auction. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but certainly has minimal impact to the overall quality of this giant piece. We wanted to give our auction customers an opportunity to obtain a significant large olmiite specimen. 959 grams or 2.1 pounds mass. This was from early find shere, originally mislabelled as Poldervaartite. It was at the time valued at $2500, many years ago
