A dramatically sculptural and fine large old crystallized copper from the Centennial Mine. Large sharp intergrown crystals with a fine patina compose this very artistic piece. The impressive large crystal on the back is 8.0 cm long. The striking cavities, from dissolved matrix, and colorful green malachite or chlorite add real pizzazz to this outstanding old-time copper. The large and famous old Centennial Mine was organized in 1863 and operated intermittently until 1966 from seven shafts (MINDAT). This exceptional large copper displays well without aid and has multiple fine display possibilities. Every turn presents a different perspective!
