An impressive and sculptural large old celestine with sulfur specimen from the famous mines at Agrigento. Scintillating spherical aggregates of glassy bone-white celestine crystals cover the undulating 3-dimensional surface of this imposing piece. Spots and hints of yellow sulfur add contrast and character to this fine old-timer from the Paterson Museum Collection, where it was formerly on display. The piece displays beautifully without aid. Pinkish white fluorescence.
